A very useful book of sixty pages on the TBF/TBM Avenger, full of excellent colour pictures and line drawings showing the fuselage, tail empennage and wing exterior as well as super shots showing the various aspects of the interior and structure of this large warbird.
 
Additional to the ‘general’ pictures there are a great number of images picking out the smaller details both on the outside and inside of the airframe.
 
Set out in sections for the different areas of the aeroplane, most of the sections have drawings to illustrate and show salient points and differences between the various versions of the Avenger.
 
At the back of the book are six colour illustrations to show a selection of colour schemes applied to the aircraft and there is a large, double sided, folded sheet with five view drawings with sub sections for the varients plus side view cutaway of the interior structure and equipment. These are in both 1/72 and 1/48 scale.
 
A worthwhile addition to any aviation enthusiasts library and especially useful to anyone constructing the Accurate Minatures or Trumpeter kits.
