This is the first book in a new series of books looking at as the name suggests Knocked out and abandonded tanks and vehicles from the last 2 years of WWII.

The book is split into 3 sections Modified Panthers of 1./Pz.Rgt.26 / Jagdtiger 323 of 3.Kp/s.Pz.Jg.Abt653 and Panzer IV/70(A).

To start with there are 11 pages covering the Panthers from 1./Pz.Rgt.26 in Italy, showing the modified turret armour.

Following this are 18 pages covering vehicles as the Panzer IV J, Panzer III N, Schienenpanzerspahwagen, Stug III G, Panther II and Tiger II.

Then pages 30 to 34 give us a near 360 degree view of the Jagdtiger 323 of 3.Kp/s.Pz.Jg.Abt653 for anybody who fancies building this beast.

Pages 35 to 83 cover a vast aray of vehicles from a Tiger 1, Flakpanzer Ostwind, Flakpanzer Moebelwagen, Flakpanzer 38(T), Steyr RSO, Marder III Ausf.M, Munitionspanzer II, Stug III E, Sd.Kfz.251/7, Sd.Kfz.251/17, Sd.Kfz.7, Sd.Kfz.223, Jagdpanther and Befehls Panther Ausf.G. Also in this section are some images of captured allied vehicles in German markings including a Firefly, M3, M8 and a Pz.Kpfw.17/18 R 730(f).

Pages 85 to 91 cover the Panzer IV/70(A) and showing that the Vorsatz P mount was used in combat.

The final 6 pages have images of Hummel, Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.H, Stug III E, Grille Ausf.K and a page of yet more Panthers.

I would highly recommend this book to anybody who has any interest in axis armour, the vast array of vehicles covered make this book a very affordable reference tool.
Bring on Panzerwrecks Number 2.
