This 48 page book follows the usual osprey format of good B & W images and text that easy to read and understand. This book covers the short-barrelled Stug IIIs from Ausf A to E and has sections on the design and development, production modifications, production history, capabilities and operational history. Mixed in with the text are 1/76th scale plans of each Ausf, in the centre of the book are 8 pages of colour plates, with the centre 2 having a open view of a Stug B each of the colour plates covers a different Ausf with all theatres covered from Russia to North Africa.

Conclusion
This is a excellent companion to go with the Achung Panzer V book, as it covers most of what is in Japanese in the Achung Panzer.
